- 18 - The ShowroomWhere Creative Designs Meet: Dr-Light Located in İstanbul, Şişli, Halide Edip Mahallesi, Dr-Light’s showroom resembles an art gallery where works from different disciplines are exhibited. The main reason for this is that the showrooms bear the signatures of valuable architects. One of them is Hakan İzbudak, the founder of İzbudak Architecture, who specializes in the retail industry. We interviewed Architect İzbudak, who designed and implemented the entrance section of the store, about store design and his collaboration with Dr-Light. Groundbreaking Approach The collaboration between Dr-Light and Hakan İzbudak dates way back. The two companies have worked together on many projects thus far. With more than 20 years of experience, İzbudak Architecture continues to produce architectural design and application solutions with the projects it has developed over an area exceeding 150.000 m2 in total so far, for leading companies in their fields such as Mudo, Levi’s, Sardunya Catering Group, Damat Tween, Assos, Pera Diamond, The Company and Dr-Light, for domestic and international stores, residences, offices, cafes, restaurants, showrooms and art galleries.
